The right bra can make you look 5 to 7 pounds thinner. The perfect fit lifts your chest to create defferentiation from the rib cage-which is an instant torso trimmer.

It is crazy, but 78% of women wear the wrong size bra size. Below is a comparison of three bras from Consumer Reports Magazine.

*Laperla Vintage ($127),

*Victoria's Secret Ipex Demi ($45) and

*Target's Gilligan & O'Malley padded demi ($11).

Each was washed 3 times and worn for a comfort check.

Which one held up the best? Target's Gilligan & O'Malley padded bra! Wow! It was found to have a better cup molding with a flexible, well padded underwire.

It is proof that you don't have to pay exorbitant amounts of money for your intimate apparel.

How to find a demi bra that fits?

It is better to get sized annually at a lingerie shop, but if you do it yourself here's how:

#1: With a bra on, take a snug measurement around your chest under your bust.

If it is an odd number of inches, add 5. If it is even, add 4. This is your band sizze.

#2: Wrap the tape lossely around the biggest part of your bust. Write down that number and subtract the band size to reveal your cup size: 1 inch = A cup, 2 inches = B cup, 3 inches = C and so on.

To sum it up, price should not be the factor in what bras you buy, it should be fit. If you haven't been measured in awhile and think you know your size, pull out the tape measure and double check. You may be surprised!
